Jayde Frederick, LMSW
Therapist
I'm Jayde- a Queens native with a clinical background that spans some of the most intricate and high-stakes populations: first responders, veterans, and justice-involved individuals. I've conducted crisis interventions, risk assessments, group sessions, and treatment planning for individuals navigating unimaginably difficult circumstances. That range of experience has shaped how I show up with clients- I can sit with people in their hardest moments without judgment or hesitation.
I work with those navigating stress, trauma, burnout, anxiety, and depression. I draw from CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, Multicultural Therapy, and holistic approaches. I often incorporate grounding exercises and mind-body practices. My approach is strength-based: exploring how emotions, environment, and past experience shape day-to-day life. I've been described as someone who brings both warmth and thoughtfulness into the therapeutic space. I value creating an environment where people feel comfortable, seen, and supported exactly as they are.
I honor people's experiences by holding space without judgment, and building something genuinely transformative from there. What matters most to me, both personally and professionally, is growth and enjoying the process along the way. I believe healing doesn’t just come from working through difficulties, but also from reconnecting with joy, humor, and meaning in everyday life. Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me watching baseball or at the gym, two things that keep me grounded and energized.
