Couples Therapy
Couples come to us for the right fit, not just the next available slot. Couples come to online therapy at every stage, preparing for marriage, navigating the inevitable friction of building a life together, or finding a way forward after something has shifted. Our clinicians work with couples facing communication breakdowns, infidelity, loss of intimacy, financial stress, parenting conflicts, and the quiet distance that can grow between two people over time. We also support couples navigating separation and co-parenting with intention and dignity.
Who We're Here For
Some couples come to us before any issues arise- preparing for marriage, wanting to build stronger habits before problems become persistent, or simply to have a space to check in on the relationship together.
Others come to us in the middle of difficulty: a betrayal in the partnership, the sense of drifting apart, a disagreement about parenting that keeps resurfacing, or the aftermath of a major life change; a move, a new addition to the family, or experiencing a loss. Wherever you find yourself, you don't need to have "enough" "going wrong' to justify starting treatment. Wanting to improve where you are at is reason enough.
What Sessions Are Like
Couples sessions typically involve partners together, though your clinician may occasionally recommend individual check-ins depending on what's most useful for your specific situation and therapeutic journey. Early sessions will focus on understanding your shared history, communication patterns and what brings you to therapy now. Your therapist will work with you to help build concrete tools that will aid you in communicating and repairing any conflicts when you are outside of the session.

We meet you as a unit first, to get an understanding of your shared history and where things currently stand in your partnership. We then decide which approach matches your relationship specifically.
Partners are active participants in treatment, not just one person being "fixed". We create a space where all voices are heard, even when that's difficult.
Getting Started
Couples therapy takes place entirely via telehealth, making it easier to attend consistently- even with multiple schedules to coordinate. Sessions are typically held weekly or as often as needed depending on your needs. If you're not sure whether couples counseling is the right next step for your relationship, contact us and we can help you figure out what would actually help.
